What is The Global ARMY Song Project+ ?
Hello and welcome! The Global ARMY Song Project+ is an international song project founded in 2018 and led by singer/songwriter, Gracie Ranan. Every year, Gracie composes an original song to be produced by this international project with collaborative efforts from ARMYs all around the world. Each song originally releases as a gift to the South-Korean mega-group, BTS, on July 9th, the day they named their fandom, ARMY: Adorable Representative MCs of Youth. In recent years, the project has shifted to later release dates to allow more quality production.

Our mission with The Global ARMY Song Project+ is to emulate the universal love of music & art by showcasing a global voice and representation for the diversity, language & culture of our international community through our project as devoted Adorable Representative MCs of Youth (ARMY) inspired by our beloved Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS).
How does our project work?
How does our project work?
Our project consists of hundreds of international members who collectively volunteer their talents & skills for this project with the purpose of representation and to help create these songs as a gift to BTS.
Each year, the project begins with our founder, Gracie PD-nim, composing the song that will become the new Global ARMY Song. Additionally, our tenured team of Producers work with Gracie PD-nim to produce the song's demo and mix the final record. Next, the Admin Team organizes the project and prepares recruitment material for all the teams. Recruitment is open internationally and held early in the production phase for members to join the Vocalists , Translators , Graphic Designers, Video Editors/Animators and Marketing teams. The active process of creating the song takes an average of 3-4 months from recruitment to final release date.
This song project would not be possible without the dedication & support from our international fandom, ARMY! Music truly transcends all languages and barriers and we're so proud to be able to create this project for everyone!💜

Our Teams
Our Teams
The Global ARMY Song Project consists of the following teams:
- The Vocalists are the recording singers in the Global ARMY Song. We usually select one (1) representative per language/country but exceptions may be given based on the needs of the song.
- The Translators will translate the song lyrics for subtitles and work alongside the vocalists representing their language/country. They also translate all announcements, posters, promotional content, etc.
- The Visual Team includes Graphic Designers and Video Editors/Animators. They help create the music video, album graphics and everything involving the artistic/visual aspect of the project.
- The Marketing Team includes international members that help with outreach and promoting the project from start to finish both online via social medias and offline at local events, venues, etc.
